Drumming circles in Spokane:

Click on the Calendar option on the home page for dates of upcoming drum circles.  If the information appears out-of-date, e-mail them and ask when the next drum circle is; one is held every month (less regularly in the summer months).  The next drum circle will be on Sunday, June 1st from 3 PM to 5 PM.  They are held at the Inner Ventures space at the Holistic Center of Healing at 711 East 29th Ave. on the South Hill about a block and a half east of Grand Blvd.

Select the "upcoming events" under "calendar" from the menu on the the left-hand side of the home page.  Drum circles are held the first Wednesday of the month at 7 PM.  If you pull up the calendar and the first Wednesday at 7 PM says "Wednesday program", click on it to see if Richard Dalke's Drum Circle comes up to confirm that it will be held.

Another drum circle is getting started at Namaska Bookstore and Tea/Coffee bar at 421 West First Ave., in downtown Spokane.  They have been held on a Sunday afternoon from 2 PM to 4 PM.  In May, there will not be one due to Mother's Day.  Check back later for June date.  If interested, call Namaska at 509 328-8283 to let them know you'd like to attend and to be put on their e-mail newsletter list.

And there is a weekly evening drum circle held on Thursdays at Tarana's home in North Spokane.  Time is from 7 PM till 9:30-ish PM.  E-mail Susan at wyominggal@comcast.net if you're interested in participating and she can give you more info.
