Breathwork Experience Offers

Breathwork uses a combination of evocative music that runs the gamut from tribal (drumming, rattles, didgeridoo pieces) to ethereal (Susan calls this “airy fairy”) and an alternate state of consciousness achieved through deeper, faster breathing. Its ability to provide re-framing (seeing things in a different light), insight, energetic release and heart opening it is often beyond people's wildest imagining!

Accelerated Pace

  • Susan's personal experience doing this kind of work is that it offers healing at an accelerated pace in comparison to traditional "talk therapy"

Meditative States

  • Use of meditative states/alternate states of consciousness combined with music (research has established that music accesses the part of the brain that holds both emotion and memory) has the potential to bypass one's defenses and get to the "real issue"

Altered State of Consciousness

  • Use of alternate states of consciousness can access material that is pre-verbal (occurred before one learned to talk). Since one experienced these things before one learned to talk, one is not able to express them verbally in "talk therapy."  Accessing them in alternate states allows for release and integration that may need to be done around what occurred during those very early years

Psychological Reframing

  • Psychological  reframing (when one is able to see a situation from a different perspective) is often experienced with deeper meaning and a sense of validity in alternate states of consciousness that is not equalled if one is trying to think his or her way into accepting a different viewpoint

Opening the Heart

  • Psycho-spiritual work is aided by opening the heart, enabling the access of non-judgmental compassion – mindfulness –that provides patience for the growth process, and an expansion of caring and positive feelings for oneself and others. In the Breathwork experience, heart-opening is fostered both by specific mention in the relaxation visualization before the start of the music as well as inclusion of heartfelt music tracks.

Testimonials

Susan Moyer introduced me to breathwork several years ago. Since then, I have participated as a ‘breather’ or as a ‘sitter’ for other participants, and am enrolled in a certification program for the technique. Based on my experience, I believe most people could benefit from experiencing breathwork. Our culture is typified by stress-filled lives, with values that don’t align with our purpose in this life. The Eupsychia method allows relatively easy access to the core self, and with reflection, the ability to make real life changes.
My own breathwork experiences have been very valuable. Each session has been different, providing opportunity for insight, reflection, change, and peace with my own purpose. I have learned about personal issues that need work, experienced help and guidance, felt intense feelings of love and support, and learned how this technique allows me to see and work on them. As a ‘sitter’ for others participating in breathwork, I have witnessed many similar, deeply moving experiences.
Susan is a certified, thoughtful, and compassionate local breathwork practitioner, with many years’ experience facilitating workshops. Whether you are new to breathwork, or have participated in many sessions, I recommend working with Susan.
